Prediction Contest -- Final Standings

Although this contest was decided well before the playoffs (which, on the bright side, made our collective ineptitude in picking the playoff results not quite as noticeable), I did manage to narrowly hang onto second place, and by virtue of being the only one to get any points in the whole Quarterfinal Round, Bioniclime manages to take third. Congrats to the winner for the second consecutive year, Ron Young, who may be starting a dynasty in this contest the same way the Dallas Destiny may be doing so in the league! But be that as it may, I'm sure the other predictors and I will be back to try to dethrone him next year.

Well, the Bionic Lime mathematical model is happy to not have come in last. Hopefully, should the model be asked to participate in this contest next year, the model will actually be calibrated and tested prior to use. Then we'll see, Mr. Jumble, whether you survive your two-year reign as champion...

I was in good shape until the playoffs came along. I probably would have had to have gone 7 for 7 to win this thing, but 1-6 negated a good last couple weeks to drop me to last.

Congratulations Ron, for humbling the rest of us!
